Those of us who have reported and demonstrated the ORBs that the X10 puts out have apparently convinced Fujifilm to create a whole new sensor to address the problem. This is excellent news. The camera is otherwise first-rate and it will now finally take its place in the sun. (Although I am hoping maybe with a tweak the AA filter as well … it seems to be rather hard to get a truly sharp image, and that lens should easily have “bite” …)
Not only that, but it appears that they have offered to swap out any existing X10 or XS-1 that demonstrates the problems.
