One reason that people love eBooks is that they are so much cheaper than paper copies. This stands to reason as producing and delivering as a download is vastly cheaper than publishing physical copies in multiple formats (hardcover, trade, paperback) … the savings should be passed along to the customer, as it has been since the Kindle first shipped.
But the publishers have started their own cash grab, as new books are coming out with outrageous pricing for the eBook … in this case double the cost of the paperback.
Shame on them …
