1) I plan to slowly scrub away my lesser moments … and I’ve been thinking about this for quite a while in case anyone wants to take credit :-)
2) Someone out in the cyber universe is referencing this post as a form of evil … of course, the irony is thick … as is the unhealthy obsession …

Found it amazing myself. Dunno the real "ins and out" of what went down between you guys or care to find out..... but I was left flabbergasted. Not so much by the fall-out between you guys (these things happen) or by the new friends that she choose...but by the "off-the-rails" excuse that you brainwashed her and that she didn't know what she was doing for the last year or so.
Man...she is either seriouly f***ed up in the head...or else she's swallowing some STRONG depthchargers!
... not sure I would call it sad, very strange perhaps. SO has for the most part through the personas of DB, JE and VA has been pretty level headed this is a 180. I dub the new persona LO (Loud Orifice) I am not going to reply to LO. If the attacks still continue as they did even when I was banned I will simply use the baby button on the babies themselves. It is funny that LO cries foul after making personal threats and slurs of all sorts. I can not believe She/He has not been banned yet. That is a testament to fact that the people that have recently been attacked by LO have been very tolerant. I have changed my stance on that… baby button for the babies … my new mantra.
Buck
PS thanks for the link LO
Patrick, that's a bit strong, but it is certainly one of the biggest twists to hit the forum in a while. The whole concept of brain washing is a bit ludicrous ...
JB, nice to see you back from your ban. I certainly would not push the button on her, but I am a bit surprised that she has not been sat out for a short time by this point. That was quite the run on the weekend.
JB, the external 180 was sudden, but there were signs that the internal gears were rotating for quite some time, or another way to put it is that the simmering continued until the pressure got so great that she exploded. While the baby button works, it seems that it's not particularly effective unless it's pressed MANY times, and only one side seems to coordinate their button pushing campaigns. I like the "LO", maybe because I'm fond of puns, double entendres and such, and Lo was the nickname of Nabakov's child/woman. Quite fitting.
Kim, Patrick may be on to something. I heard an interview today with the author of an article in the latest Vanity Fair about Sarah Palin. Good grief, but there was a lot that sounded like LO. It's not a magazine that I buy because every time I'm tempted, I try to find the article of interest but it's always too well hidden among the thousands of ads so I just put the issue back on the stands. Ooh - I just found it online, so I get to read it after all. Here's the URL, followed by a quote (Kim, truncate the quote if necessary)

> Some details of the Palins’ private life, however, suggest a reality at odds with Sarah’s image. In speeches, Palin pays tribute to the man she still calls “the First Dude.” One of the strangest passages in Going Rogue concerns post-election rumors that the couple was considering a divorce. “That day in sunny Texas when the divorce rumors were rampant in the tabloids, I watched Todd, tanned and shirtless, take the baby from my arms and walk him back to the ranch house,” she writes, like a frontier Barbara Cartland. “Dang, I thought. Divorce Todd? Have you seen Todd?” Locally, much speculation surrounds the marriage. Some say Todd is henpecked, and others see him as the heavy. One person who has been a frequent houseguest of the Palins’ says that the couple began many mornings with screaming fights, a fusillade of curses: “ ‘Fuck you,’ ‘Fuck this,’ ‘You lazy piece of shit.’ ‘You’re fuckin’ lucky to have me,’ Sarah would always say.”
Naturalist ... grow up.
