If I see this kind of rotten spelling one more time, I will scream
This comment from an article on Apple versus Android, just to set the context:
In 2012 Android enjoyed a 72% market share versus Apples 13%. Maybe a more informed approach to the article would be "Does Apple need to slash prices to keep it's small place in the market intact and not loose relevance?"
It is LOSE, not LOOSE. If you pronounce the words correctly, you get the right spelling EVERY TIME.
LOSE means you no longer have something, as in it is now gone. It has a hard Z sound. LOOSE means not tight. It has the soft S sound.
